Patients could also be referred to Diabeles education department, dietetians, infection conrol, chaplins etc.

Nurses also need to place orders for other services like Wardsmen, Plumbers, Electricians, Handymen, Hospitality, Equipment Maintenance etc.

Most of the orders, referrals are for patients. However, the services could be for a particular location.

Care Plans

Hospital Management Software - Care Plans

The wards take care of medical patients as well as post-op care of surgical patients.

The Admitting Doctor provides the protocols to be followed for the care of his patients.

Besides the protocols there are Clinical Pathways to be followed.

Each patient is a different case because of allergies, comorbidities and situation like MRO. The software should be smart enough to generate the individualized care plan. As the time goes by the care plan should accept the observations being recorded by clinicians and rework the care plan if the need arises.

Which system does your hospital follow?
